Amazon Acronym Guide - Code3

Company: Code3
Role: Designer
Project Type: Marketing Design, Editorial Design
Collaborators: Copy Writer
Goals
The main purpose of the acronym guide was to be a free resource to help educate clients on the different kinds of acronyms referenced in Amazon advertising. Educating Code3’s clients on Amazon acronyms is incredibly important to improve client communication and the client’s understanding of what Code3's digital advertisers are reporting.
Not only is this resource helpful for client communication, but it is also beneficial to new employee onboarding. Since Amazon advertising is still new to the industry, it is helpful to educate our new employees so they can easily follow along during meetings and accelerate their training.
Approach
I kept the design of the guide pretty simple. I made sure to use enough visuals to reference Code3’s brand look, while still making the imagery relevant to Amazon. I mainly prioritized the type hierarchy within the guide so readers can easily find the acronyms they are looking for.
Introduction Spread
The content within this spread is aimed to introduce new readers to the guide by incorporating Code3’s tagline and briefly explaining the overall purpose.
Acronym Spread
These spreads are the bread and butter of the overall guide. As mentioned above I kept the design simple to focus on utilizing type hierarchy and color in order to help make the content easily skimmable.
Closing Spread
The different design of the spread lets the reader know that this is the end of the guide. Since the guide is a Code3 marketing resource, the goal of the spread is to inform the reader about who the Code3 commerce team is and what services they offer.
